Green lamps are warranted for 12 years from the date of manufacture. Trijicon recommends green dots because they are the brightest lamps. They are best for targets in low- and no-light shooting conditions. Trijicon 3-Dot night sight sets are designed and assembled with the optimum combination of strength and safety. The patented aluminum cylinder and sapphire lens construction cannot be equaled. The brightness obtained from the tritium content is focused through the sapphire lens to give the maximum possible illumination. POI vs POA is different than factory Pistol hits higher than before. However it''''s only about 3 @ 25 yards, and this is a short range weapon. Tritium is bright in dim/no light and sights are easy to use during daytime.
Rear sight was a very tight fit to install, I recommend a sight pusher. Also, the front sight screw needs a special driver to install. Trijicon did not come with the driver, luckily I had one from a Ameriglo set which fit.
Still, the Trijicon sights are a quality set, just a pain to install unless you have the proper tools.

I carry my Glock in my purse. Where I have to park my car, it''s a rough part of town and at night, there are lots of shadows. These sights add to my peace of mind.
